Sun Clay is an all-natural sun and heat protectant skin care brand I designed for my "Design Thinking" course. Products include sunscreens, face masks, lotions, hair masks, and heat-protectant hair oils. 

The main objective for this course project was to create a monogram brand logo using two given letters of the alphabet. Being given the letters S and C, I went to work to come up with a brand. I honed in on beauty because I hope to work in advertisement for a beauty company one day. After establishing my brand name - Sun Clay - I processed through multiple drawings, fonts, and color schemes for my two letters until I came up with something that was elegant, modern, and timeless all at once. It was perfect to me once I imagined it on a skin care bottle, or seeing it on a shelf in the cosmetics aisle. 

From there, I created mock-ups of face creams, store fronts, reusable shopping bags, online packaging, and more products. The mock-ups are what really brought the whole brand together for me. 

This was by far my favorite assignment in this course and I hope to be given more opportunities to design branding or rebrand for real businesses!
