Tuyules - Banemilk

Tuyules - Banemilk
The Tuyules/Spritelings series delves into tales of a mischieveous spritefolk Infatuated by milk, precious gems, rare metals and shiny things. Constricted in their glass confine, yet surrounded by environment of their own liking, Tuyules draws an allegory to the absurd solitude and ceaseless toils many people faces under the present social isolation, yet nonetheless reach a state of contented acceptance and at the very core of beings are happy.

“Banemilk”
A terrarium filled with succulent plants, White snake, venoms, and spritelings. This is my metaphor for continuance, My constant self isolation, venomous thoughts filled with self-loathing, And my journey to self-forgiveness.

A terrarium can be seen as a representation of life. It is a small enclosed ecosystem in which plants and animals coexist. The plants in the terrarium create an environment that is conducive to life, while the animals provide food and waste disposal for the plants. In this way, the terrarium can be seen as a metaphor for life itself.

In “Banemilk”, the spriteling that lives on the terrarium felt comfort while it's isolated from the harm of outside world, in truth this is a false sense of security as the one that the sprite has to worry about is the white snake venomous thoughts, that spews all over the terrarium, for the snake's venomous bane, are the one who poses the most danger to the continuance of livehood and the preservation of life for the sprite, yet after all this dangers that surrounds it, the spritelings still endure, for it must survive and thrive under the confines of the Terrarium, for it’s the only space it knows and the only place it’s choose to continue the rest of it’s life with.

Ultimately, the artwork is a reminder that no matter how bad things seem, there is always hope for a better tomorrow. The succulent plants are a symbol of resilience and survival, while the white snake is a symbol of danger and adversity. In the end, we must all learn to make peace with our inner demons if we want to find happiness and peace in our lives.
