INTRODUCTION
This project is a packaging design created in response to the very first Takealot heritage box design. Takealot was hosting a competition for artists to showcase their heritage through their work. My design won this competition and was printed on 1 million boxes that will be distributed throughout South Africa.
CREATIVE RATIONALE
The skyline around the edges depicts the nine provinces in a fluid design, emphasizing our unity as a nation. The design's creative elements and vernacular convey the energetic feeling we have as a people and nation, and it identifies with every South African, regardless of race or religion; it is representative of who we are. A bird's-eye view of all
our heritage and what unites us as one nation, one South Africa.
