The Hand pictogram was created for the purpose of promoting cultural events at the Museum of Mr. Thaddeus in Wroclaw and was also utilized as part of the visual identity for the "In this silence, a moment in Soplicowo..." project.
Inspired by quotes from "Mr. Thaddeus" and considering the needs of Deaf individuals, the Museum of Mr. Thaddeus initiated the "In this silence, a moment in Soplicowo..." project. The aim was to create a space for
the exchange of experiences, cultural heritage, and language between two communities - the Deaf and the hearing.
A key aspect of the project was adapting the museum's educational offerings to the needs of Deaf individuals, enabling them to better understand Adam Mickiewicz's poem, one of the most significant works in Polish culture. The project resulted in an educational publication containing Polish language lesson plans tailored for Deaf individuals. Additionally, the project included training sessions for museum educators to familiarize them with working with individuals with hearing impairments and sign language interpreters.
The OK! Hand pictogram depicts a hand in a position where the thumb and index finger touch each other.
The "OK!" sign is a communication indicating that everything is fine, that it's great, and that everything is going according to plan. In this context, the pictogram served as a visual-symbolic system to facilitate communication between the Deaf and hearing communities.

Piktogram OK! został stworzony z myślą o promocji wydarzeń kulturalnych w Muzeum Pana Tadeusza
we Wrocławiu i został również wykorzystany jako element identyfikacji wizualnej projektu "Tej ciszy chwila
w Soplicowie...".
Inspirując się cytatami z "Pana Tadeusza" i analizując potrzeby osób Głuchych, Muzeum Pana Tadeusza zainicjowało projekt "Tej ciszy chwila w Soplicowie", mający na celu stworzenie przestrzeni do wymiany doświadczeń, dorobku kulturowego i językowego między dwiema społecznościami - Głuchymi i słyszącymi.
Kluczowym elementem projektu było dostosowanie oferty edukacyjnej muzeum do potrzeb osób niesłyszących,
aby umożliwić im lepsze zrozumienie poematu Adama Mickiewicza, jednego z najważniejszych dzieł polskiej kultury.
W wyniku projektu powstała publikacja edukacyjna, zawierająca scenariusze lekcji języka polskiego
dla osób Głuchych. Dodatkowo, w ramach projektu odbyły się szkolenia dedykowane edukatorom muzealnym,
którzy zdobyli wiedzę na temat współpracy z osobami z dysfunkcją słuchu oraz tłumaczami języka migowego.
Piktogram Hand, czyli ręka OK!, przedstawia rękę w pozycji, gdzie kciuk i palec wskazujący przylegają do siebie.
Znak "OK!" jest komunikatem, że wszystko jest w porządku, że jest super, że wszystko idzie zgodnie z planem.
W tym przypadku piktogram spełnił funkcję systemu obrazkowo-znakowego, wspomagając komunikację
między społecznościami Głuchych i słyszących.
