North Face Logo Animation
In my cross-platform design class, my assignment was to create a 5 seconds logo animation for North Face. While storyboarding, I played with the shape of the logo -the three stripes that resembles the Half Dome mountain peak in California and made it consistent throughout the video. The purpose of the video is to show what the brand offers which are sport wear and backpacking equipment.
My storyboard:
I made some changes in shot 2 and 6. In shot 2, I replaced the figure rock-climbing to products that North Face sells as I felt that North Face isn't just about sports and mountains but they also have fashionable goods like their bags. In shot 6, I changed the animation as I felt that the current one fits with the audio more.
