SCAD FASH Fundraiser Invite Design
Brief: Conceptualize and develop designs for a SCAD FASH scholarship fundraiser invitation. The invitation must utilize different papers, have unique and complex die cuts, and have a matching envelope. SCAD FASH hosts a fundraiser every year highlighting one famous designer and their collection. Since they are looking for large donations they do not spare expenses and that includes the invitations they send. To best entice the invitees, SCAD FASH wants to showcase one dress from the collection which is featured on the invite.
The designer and collection being showcased at 2023's fundraiser are Alessandro Michele & Gucci's Love Parade. Known for his cinematic approach to the runway, Alessandro Michele’s Love Parade for Gucci showcases his classic Hollywood aesthetic influenced by of the glamorous golden age of cinema. The invitation spotlights the showstopper dress that dominated the Hollywood Boulevard runway.
