3.26 AIR MAX DAY
So this is a project where two of my passions came to one. Sneakers which my favourite is air max 1 and the love for making typography. I think a few of you guys/girls would know that Air Max Day was on 3.26. A day were Nike Air Max exists for 27 years(!)
So see below the progress of how two of my passions came to one.
Wanted to make something for the air max day which was helt on 3.26. So the first thing I began with was the draft for 326. After this I started to make the type around it.
The basic is set.
Added the same texture that is on the midsole.
Making the laces was one of the hardes part of it because of its curls. So I decided to take one of my shoes and twisted the laces so I could see what it will do if the laces are curled.
Laces were added with a second layer within the letters.
Added a little depth on the second layer within the type.
Added the texture on the laces and the rest of the type.
I shade the rest of the type give it all a better depth. Next I added the stitches onto the second layer that's on top of the type and it's finally done!
