What is it About?

This project is about the legendary Christmas movie called Home Alone. The movie is about a boy who accidentally stays home while he was supposed to be in France with his family. He has to go through many obstacles such as burglars trying to rob their house. 

Why Did I Chose This?

I chose to do my project about this movie, because it is starting to be the holiday season, and whenever I think of Christmas movies I think of Home Alone. Home Alone is in my opinion the most classic Christmas movie. Whenever I watch it, it brings up so many memories of celebrating Christmas when I was younger. 

For my color palette I chose this one. I wanted to chose a color palette that suits the Christmas theme of the movie well and I thought that this was the best fit. I found this image from Pintrest. 

For the center of my artwork I wanted to recreate this image from the movie. This is one, if not the most iconic image from the movie. This image is from when the little kid in the movie sees the robbers in his house. I found this image from Pintrest.

Another thing that I wanted to recreate in my artwork were the robbers in the movie. The robbers names were Harry and Marv. They weren't the smartest of criminals and often messed up and fell into the traps made by a little boy. I found this image from Pintrest. 

I also added an illustration of the home that the movie itself almost entirely took place in. I made changes in the colors of the house to suit the color palette that I had chosen. This image I also found on Pintrest. 

To fill in the main artwork of my illustration I added Christmas spirited things such as a stocking, Christmas tree, and snowflakes around the house.
