In this student project we had to create a Gig Poster. I created this for the band Nickelback and based it off of their new album they came out with in 2022, Get Rollin'. We were asked to take a photograph of something and compile it into a gig poster. I found the tire pictured in my college parking garage and added a filter to the tire and the guitar to have it fit the cartoon vibe of their album. I chose to use the same font as their album cover while letting the band name remain a harder and rougher font to match the bands usual look. To get my desired look I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the chosen photos and then used Adobe Illustrator to bring together the rest of the elements.
