This project was a collaborative endeavout taken on by myself and fellow designer, Eve Aphayboun of Modern Anomally. The initial packaging at the time was constructed using 5-6 substrates and presented an unsustainable approach to the packaging of the product itself.
As a team, we developed a design and structure that would consist of two substrates and at the same time, cut down on the amount of material being used in manufacturing while maintaining essential physical space and content capacity within the structure of the package.
Prototype testing proved to be very helpful and successul as it highlighted various structural and material flaws.
This design won the Patricia Watt Scholarship for Excellence in Package Design in the spring of 2010.
