WAVES
A short film "Waves" that seeks to explore the characteristics of love in its three stages of existence and progression: falling in love, conflict, pain of separation, and acceptance.
The main experiment in the film is the translation of the three stages of love only through body language, the actions of the main characters, without the use of dialogues, monologues. Each of the three stages is vividly separated visually.
The film does not have a clear plot, it is an observation of the lives of Mia and Max, two opposing characters, in the context of a personal relationship that cannot be together from the beginning. From co-dependency to accepting the idea in the finale that it would be better to go their separate ways in life.
The film was shot in the summer of 2021, but with the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the film still remains unfinished due to the impossibility of obtaining materials.
