The aim of this project is to design a special edition box set for the 100th anniversary of Pier Paolo Pasolini which celebrates in 2022. The set includes the main films and reflects the director's world.

The core of overall design is reflecting the critical, pessimist and provocative style of the films. There are also a lot of contamination and dirtiness in films. Therefore, I tried to get my hands dirty—literally, making collages and assembling cut-outs in various combinations using stills from the films. I added drawings, lines for every cover which resembles the main elements and symbolism of every film. I used some grain paper texture that might resemble the contamination and ugliness. The using of white background is inspired by opening credits of films: the typography placed at the centre and the background is kept clean and white. The sharpen handwritten letterings on every cover are the most expressive summation of the movie’s particular atmosphere of derangement and obscenity.
Logo is based on the custom sharp font reflecting Pasolini's provocative and critical language.
