This student project is called Whale Eater. For this assignment, the criteria of the project was to combine multiple images using Adobe Photoshop to create this underwater image that ultimately looks like it all belongs together. To start off this project, three images were given to work with. The images included were, images of the underwater scene, pick-up truck, and whale. Having the pick-up truck's hood open with the whale swimming toward it gives the effect, and hint to the name Whale Eater.

For this image, many tools in Photoshop were used to put this picture together. First starting off by placing all the images on one document, and then creating a clipping mask to hide part of the truck behind the reef. Next up was adjusting each image so that the angles and sizing of each matched and looked realistic. As easy as this step was, it was important and could easily make the composite look off. Along with all of those steps, a variety of many filters and color corrections were used to match the underwater color that the sea had.
