TRADIGITAL ADVERTISEMENTS
The purpose of this assignment was to create three digital social media advertisements for an emerging technology from the "emerging technology" project.
I made a positive advertisement, a negative advertisement, and a metaphorical advertisement.
I brainstormed with a mind map and 10 slogans for each ad. I used 27 thumbnails to organize layout ideas and the final versions were created in Adobe Illustrator.
This project was completed for DDN - 115: Raster and Vector Technologies.

The idea behind this advertisement was to show that you can control your smart home from your fingertips (on your phone).
Negative Ad
Traditional vs. Smart Homes - For emerging technology to be successful, people need to feel comfortable with change.
Metaphorical Ad
A Smart Home is like a brain for your home. I decided that the best way to show this was by bringing a home to life. I added a nose, eyes, mouth, and brain to the home for this effect.
