WOODKIDS
These characters are created from my house plants, which have their own names, histories and unique features. I also added some peculiarities from my real friends and relatives to these characters.
Working on this project helped me a lot because I realized importance of friendship and close bonds with reliable relatives better. After all when we have no friends we lose an opportunity to show true love and generosity and thus we concentrate on ourselves, on our own problems. Also we hold back from opportunities to progress and make each other better. And certainly we will have no support in hard times.
Some facts about making this project.
I used photos of my place as a background for illustrations, because I was creating this project during quarantine of COVID-19. And also I postured by myself for these photos. So all these illustrations are special for me because my characters show some of my emotions and feelings during the pandemic.
Fun fact about project. When I searched for information about each of my plants, I found quite a lot of advises for taking care of them, and this helped me improve my plants’ living conditions.
One more fact about the project is that I took base colors from pantone pallete for 2022.
