Tess Copeland's profile

Critical Theory Vol.1

Editorial
An A5 sized quarterly publication designed to make post-structuralist theory more accessible to the everyday intellectual by introducing small excerpts of seminal texts. Coptic bound, the signatures of the book and pink paper stock are used to designate chapters. The design makes use of the visual language of computers, removed from it's context in print. I intentionally selected the default settings of desktop publishing programs Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word, with the use of Times New Roman, default underline settings, RGB red and gradients and images rendered in diffusion dither.
