Restaurant Design
The format of the project was a menu design, front and back, a booklet about the restaurant’s design guidelines, a logo design, and a mockup of a tote bag with the restaurant’s logo. It began with paper sketches of the logo. Both the menu and the logo designs were created in Adobe Illustrator. The tote bag mockup was created on Adobe Photoshop, and the booklet was created on Adobe Indesign. The purpose of the assignment was to brainstorm and create an aesthetic for a potential restaurant. Then, the restaurant’s menu, logo, and merchandise was made based on this aesthetic. One thing that turned out well was the font I designed for the restaurant. I think that it really matches the simple aesthetic of the coffee shop.
