It has recently become extremely difficult for younger generations in the Arab world to maintain a strong command of their mother tongue, Arabic, due to a variety of factors.

Many parents and teachers struggle to properly teach their children and students how to write and spell Arabic letters and words. Blloor was created for such a purpose.

Blloor uses gamified interactive exercises, a secure social network, to help children improve their writing and spelling abilities.

Since games compete with Blloor for children's attention and time, we decided to design Blloor to look and feel like a game, starting with the brand identity and developing a mascot that can be customized and develop relationships with children over time, then moving on to a playful identity system that can appeal to both children and parents. Following that, we worked on the app's user interface, trying to strike a balance between making it appear exciting enough and serving its educational purpose.
