Born out of a belief in Bitcoin’s ability to drive large-scale positive change, BlockGreen has developed a unique finance protocol that connects like-minded players from across the ecosystem, helping it become more sustainable and more mature.
We partnered together to craft a brand story that balanced the complexity of the ecosystem with the simplicity of the vision, and develop a distinct visual identity that appealed to their web3-native audiences

Progression Through Connection

In order to see Bitcoin flourish, it’s necessary to understand the complex relationships at play and the benefits of coming together. Miners in need of capital, with lenders who believe in BTC. The promise of financial gain, with the prospect of greater sustainability. The mathematical world of the protocol, with its impact on our planet and lives. This fundamental need for a shared approach to drive Bitcoin forward is captured in our core brand idea – Progression through Connection.

At the apex of complexity and order

The visual identity was born out of the tension between the ordered logic that underpins Bitcoin and the organic complexity of how it manifests in the real world. The order comes through in the prominent use of a grid system, a digital typeface and a 16-square grid logo lock-up that makes reference to each Bitcoin’s unique 16-digit hash. Meanwhile, a windows device reveals abstract organic rock formations and fluid gradients that breakthrough and disrupt the order. The result is a distinctive, eye-catching identity that nods to the crypto space yet takes it in a fresh direction.
