YEAR 4 OF EVERYDAYS - 2021
I am publishing this project in the end of 2022, because I have been focused on other platforms and while I have been creating a new artwork every day, it has been hard to group everything and create a proper project. Since it is the end of the year, I found a reason to stop procrastinating, as while I am posting this project I am already doing Year 6 of everydays. Anyway I wanted to share the text that I shared on my instagram page when I finished Year 4 of everydays:
• 4 YEARS OF PLAYING WITH PIXELS • It feels like it was a week ago when I posted about finishing the third years of everydays while at the same time there are so many things that have happened since that time, that it feels like 10 years ago. Last year of everydays was a very important year because I took the most difficult decision of my life, which was to quit my engineering “career” and go full time freelancing. This year made me understand that it was the best decision of my life and I will never regret it. As you may know, now I am also considered an NFT artist, and this has changed my perspective about the future in so many ways. It has given me the privilege to focus only on my art while also being economically stable, which leads to choosing the clients myself. Something that hasn’t changed during these years is that I still try to teach things that I learn myself, so I have recorded a second course with Domestika which will be available soon! About the future I don’t have any particular plan, besides continuing with the 5th year of everydays. Although the anxiety about the future hasn’t disappeared, I feel more calm and I have a sense of purpose that helps me get through it.
