This is the opening scene of the movie. The setting is the wedding of our two protaganists, Thomas (Russell McNabb) and Clare (April Hooper), which is set inside their dreams. At this point in our story, they have never seen each others' faces, even in the dreams. They've never met, and live on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
