Winnie the Pooh Deforestation Comic

Brief: I was tasked to choose either a historical figure, who has been dead for over 50 years, or a character and create a comic with them in it about a social issue.

I had a lot of fun with this brief and loved coming up with a narrative mixing two things that aren’t related together. I chose Winnie the Pooh as my character and deforestation as my theme. I used watercolour and fine liner as my media which I really enjoy using and made sure to use colour and lighting to affect the mood and tone of the piece, with it being happy and light at the beginning and darker in the end when it's sad.
