Process:
We were heavily inspired by illustrator James Gilleard and Chromosphere's style, but also we wanted to bring our own touch to this project and recreate the atmosphere found it such works within a 3d space as well.
Our process consisted of starting off with a storyboards, then moving on to color sketches & finally the fully rendered styleframe. This iterative process was by far the trickiest to nail down and we spent quite a fair bit of time refining each iteration before arriving at our desired outcome.
