"Apostrofes" is an independent experimental publication of 15-syllable verses based on Cretan tradition (mantinades), written by Argyris Athanasiades.
The Creative Concept
With the small size and the contrast caused by the use of big typographic elements, we wanted to create a pocket publication destined to be read on the spot - on the peak of the moment and its longing. In parallel, the same feeling of forwardness and directness is also met in the illustrations, where one-line drawings express the total of the content - the same way it happens with Cretan poems (mantinades).
