Key Visual

GAiT (Gdańsk Buses and Trams) is the largest transportation company in Pomerania and continues a tradition of public transportation dating back to 1873. They have great aspirations to be an extremely modern institution that draws on the history and context of Gdansk. We tried to include all their ambitions in the design of the new key visual. It is intended to be a very dynamic and useful concept, which can be freely modified according to the established modules of illustrations of a bus, trams and buildings characteristic for Gdansk.

Our task was to create a key visual for GAiT that would build a positive brand image, target a variety of target groups and emphasize the modernity of the fleet.  We created modular illustrations based on Gdansk's most recognizable buildings, which were complemented by aesthetically pleasing images of trams and buses. These representations can be freely combined with each other and elements of transport, as they are based on an identical color palette and characteristic common elements. The illustrations can also behave differently on different formats and look good on each. Target layouts can include more vehicles, as well as more parts of the city, depending on the need.
