KEEN COLLECTIVE
Design collaboration involved designing for a stakeholder brief for the Zero Waste Project: my team and I focused on the hospitality industry and how much food waste is produced everyday. We worked closely as a team to come up with designs which aided each other through a system that could be used to reduce, reuse and dispose of any waste safety and correctly. 

Our brand name is KEEN collective and we used our inter-disciplinary skills to create designs which were easy to use and effective in a commercial kitchen setting.

 We designed educational posters to inform kitchen staff on the correct and most efficient ways to reuse and dispose of waste. We designed an app which demonstrated the locations of disposal bins so that they could correctly dispose of their waste. It also presented to the consumer how much they were helping the environment by following this process.

 My area of the project was to design compost bins which are easy to use and are specific for commercial kitchens, to ensure that the waste is being composted and not thrown away.
