Let me to introduce the sleek and iconic Electric Scooter design called "R O O T."
In accordance with the size restrictions for electric scooters in Shanghai in 2016, I proposed a sleek and modern electric scooter design.
To capture a modern yet iconic product, I refined the style through numerous hand sketches and derived an elegant frame design in the shape. It allows users to enjoy the excitement of their ride while expressing their unique personality through a customizable frame.
Continuing the signature Circle Ring light of NIU on the front head, which has evolved into minimal LED lighting,
and a simplistic back light that seamlessly blends into the elegant frame lines.
The scooter's frame features DIY screws for easy transformation, catering to various uses and personal styles.
I have summarised three scenarios:
A) Lady biker who wishes to have a canopy on top to shield against strong sunlight and rain while also extending the second seat at the back.
B) Most commuters and bikers desire space to carry their belongings.
C) A transformation style that varies based on the user's personality.
An easily portable battery is located under your seat, allowing you to charge it directly or via the bike.
