The Brief
Conjointly with Amaze Design, we were contacted by and worked with the IF/THEN® philanthropy to help develop the visual brand identity and exhibit layout of a new display of 3D printed STEM women. I specifically worked on the brand logo and visual design of the panels. The project commenced in January 2020.
Logo & Visual Identity
The initial work started with the brand for: If/Then She Can The Exhibit. Based on the main IF/THEN® system I created 3 options with multiple variations.
After selection of an option I finalized the visual identity for the exhibition which could be used in a variety of formats.
Following the creation of the brand, I next created layouts for the exterior map panel, interior double-sided interpretation panel, and two different ID labels (one exterior, one interior).
The Pandemic and Implementation
The final installation at Dallas North Park was intended to start in May 2020. Of course, we all are aware of the pandemic starting in March of 2020 and thus the project was put on hold. In "all good things" fashion, the If/Then She Can The Exhibit has now shown at 6 locations across the USA, with the potential for more planning as we speak. Below is a collection of images for each of the locations that final install photos are available.
