Inspired by women's behavior with their purse, this piece represents that vanity and private/personal attachement from such item. It is about what they want to show and what they keep to themselves, the concept transformed into a nightsand to be placed in a private and personal area, yet showing its beauty on the outside.

Materials used were walnut and acrylic.
CNC machine was used for the shaping of the walnut.
Acrylic was laser cut and wet sanding and polishing was required for smooth edges.

The materials chosen represent that contrast between what it is shown and what its not, transluscent vs. solid.
