Miam Amour
Brief
This project focused on branding and strategy development, this project aims to create a strong, cohesive, visual identity for a platform or institution. Brand strategies must be developed to guide the design process.
The visual identity guide should contain enough information so that it can be handed over to any designer to work on the brand - it must include all the necessary visual assets and the tone of the brand in order to capture the essence of the brand successfully.
Rationale
My approach to the project was to create a brand for a french burger restaurant, in France. Miam Amour is a play on the phrase: “mon amour”, meaning “my love” in french.“miam” is french for “yum”. The brand is fun, playful and quirky. The tone of the brand is flirty and cute and is designed to remind the viewer of valentines day. This plays on a very stereotypical view of France and Paris.
