Our unstoppable resource-consuming culture is putting an expiration date on the planet. This animation makes global warming an accessible concept for all ages.
First, I show the many things that we do that cause the problem, such as consumption of fossil fuels and meat. Then I highlight the way aggregate use and misuse of natural resources results in climate change. Next, I explain how global warming works and how our actions contribute to the whole problem. At the end, I show simple solutions that anyone can follow. The music adds an ironic twist. Those who recognize the tune know that it is Lily Allen’s “Fuck You,” which is what we are saying to the planet when we pollute.
