A partnership between the Toronto Public Library (TPL) and the Toronto Transit Committee (TTC) lead to the creation of the TPL: TTC Reads app. The app allow commuters to discover the library's most popular books and lets them read the first few chapters making their mundane subway ride better.

If the user wants to read the full book, it pushes them to download the Libby app to borrow the ebook using their library login.
