Hydragun, a premium recovery tool brand based in Singapore, reached out to (acasso) to assist them in making the Atom, an uncompromised mini massage gun. The goal was to design a portable handheld massage gun that retains the power and durability of full-sized massage guns with premium-looking aesthetics.

We felt the market is saturated with overly rugged & functional massage guns, and there is a need for a minimalist design. We wanted the user to focus on the essence and appreciate the pure form made of high-quality aluminum material with superior build quality by stripping away all unnecessary parts.

Despite the high cost, aluminum has many advantages over plastic. It is better for distributing the heat generated by the motor. It is more robust, contributing to the product's durability and overall lifespan. And most importantly, it looks premium. We strived to achieve the perfect color and texture for the anodized aluminum enclosure of the Atom.

Atom uses a high-performance BLDC motor that is powerful and quiet, so you can still get a real, deep, and satisfying massage, but with the convenience of being easy to carry.
