Yahtzee with Buddies is one of Scopely's flagship titles, with over half a million daily active users. Based on the classic Yahtzee game, the core gameplay consists of several game modes all with their own unique visual style and reward system. As a 2D artist in the game, I contributed a large quantity of vanity items and LiveOps content such as interstitials and dice designs, as well as promotional illustrations. I also handled implementation and working with our outsourcing partners. Here are some examples of my work.

Dice Derby is a horse racing mini-game where you can collect themed horses and race them against other players. I worked on several horse and frame designs, as well as a variety of in-game promotional assets.

Paint n' Roll is a unique game mode where players can pick the colors on the paintings much like coloring books, as well as customize the dice reward after all the paintings are completed. Here are just a couple of fun themed sets I worked on.

Outside of game asset creation, a lot of my tasks revolve around working on in-app and web promotional assets. Below are examples of different offers and promos for the game.

Recently, the introduction of Dynamic In-App Messaging has allowed for higher quality interstitials in the game, and also flexibility in promotional asset creation.
