In my role as Media Communications Assistant last summer I helped edit the promotional videos for courses in the media communications department. I was given the original files of the interviews with lecturers and student footage and cut away all the footage that wasn't needed. I also keyed out the greenscreen behind people before handing the files back to the Deis department to finish the editing. 

During my time as assistant I was invited on a video shoot of this video. I helped set up the shots and also recorded the sound. The video was played during November 2013 in Cork cinemas.
