The Brief

As a presentation to the Mint Museum of Charlotte, North Carolina, I developed a sample graphics treatment for the exhibition Fired Up: Contemporary Glass by Women Artists from the Toledo Museum of Art.

Design Process

It includes a graphic visual and text element. Together they represent the heat of creating glass while utilizing the reflective qualities of the paint–the same way glass might.

Solution

This design is represented inside the exhibition using colored light and in print through an overlay of transparent color.
