Student Work—Line + Pattern Design
Digital Media Foundations — Fall 2022/2023
Students learned about the element of line and the principles of repetition and pattern. They were then asked to implement these new design concepts using software skills learned in adobe illustrator including the line tool, pen tool and direct selection adjustments. Students developed a set of 6 cohesive patterns. To display their work they were taught how to create a mock up in Photoshop allowing them to present their ideas in a realistic rendering.
