Nature's Body - BFA Thesis Exhibition

The reality of photography is often times you get what you see.  As a student constantly studying photos, I have come to the conclusion that a photo is a way to alter someone’s perspective.  You can make the photo into something completely different than what the viewer may expect to see.

I have taken this idea of alteration and began studying how I could use this idea to show my perspective. We are a part of nature.  We are derived from nature.

This investigation of the human body being part of nature has become something I have been very interested in studying.  Nature almost looks foreign when it is placed on the human body as skin.  Yet we all have worked hand in hand for years.
