Nordic International Support Foundation (NIS) is an organization that assists post war and conflict areas with counseling and financial assistance. In 2012 they started a project in Mogadishu, Somalia, to prevent crime and violence. Together with NIS, the capital put up their first street lights in a city that was completely darkened after sunset. Today, there are several kilometers of illuminated streets.

 

NIS is looking for potential partners and contributors to the project and commissioned us to developed a campaign for them. We named the project "Street lighting project» and created a solution that focuses on a path to a brighter future. Along the way you get an insight into how Mogadishu has changed through the implementation of streetlights. The illustrations specifically describe what potential partners would contribute to.
