"The Moon Has Fallen"

Written by Stefano Regazzo
Personal project
The moon has fallen is a wordless book, made with graphite, digital color and scanned paper texture.

This is a story that deals with the universal theme of misunderstanding, shown through the clashes that occur between those who try to get closer to the truth and those who limit themselves to the superficiality of things and the resulting sense of isolation that ensues.
It all takes place in a small place in the forest, where in a pond is reflected the moon to which some monkeys look out. One of them, the protagonist, realizes that the moon is not inside the water but rather in the sky and will try to make the others understand this, who end up chasing it away. Taken by a feeling of loneliness, she will realize instead that she is not the only one who has wanted the truth.

Companions to this story are the fireflies who act as a playful element along the reading, traversing the events and observing them along with us.

Recommended to readers between 3-6 years old, 28 pages.
