Design a unique and original typeface. 

 

Krohn was created for the Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati, OH. The conservatory is a main attraction of the city and, after researching Krohn’s promotional materials, I saw a general lack of cohesiveness. My ultimate goal was to create a typeface that would be used in the conservatory’s promotional materials. The typeface needed to be usable on both large and small scale formats. After finding inspiration in the elegant serifs of Goudy Old Style and the subtle weight changes of Optima, Krohn was created.
