After exploring the client's vision of a landing page with a desk the final sketch was digitalised in Adobe Illustrator. The illustration was imported into Adobe Fireworks where different sizes for mobile, tablet and desktop computers were established and they had image maps added to them. By using Jquery and media queries the image map will scale in-between breakpoints and then switch on them to ensure it looks good and is user freindly on all devices.
The illustrations were introduced into the navigation area and the widgets within the sidebar to add character to the website and to give the user something familiar to the landing page to ensure they know that they are still on the same website. The website uses Twitter Bootstrap for the responsive grid and is built into Wordpress to allow the client to content manage it.
