Washington - February 2014

Along with visiting New York City, I also stopped off in Washington to visit some important landmarks.  I was really lucky with the weather (Washington had had snow only a few days before my arrival) so it still photographed very well, and combined with the clear skies, these photos convey an icy atmosphere that illustrates just how cold it was.

These photos will be used in my final A2 Photography project titled 'The Built Environment', so watch this space for digitally manipulated imagery from my visit.
Possibly one of my favourite photos from my visit - The White House. I love the contrast the tree branches create and their soft shadows on the snow.

More photos from Washington, and others like it, also feature on my website, so feel free to check it out, and any appreciations would be gratefully accepted

Thank you
