UPSIDE down
Once upon a time in Utopia. A Baobab tree flourished alongside a lake until he noticed his reflection in the water one day. He was horrified by how ugly he was with his big fat trunk, small crooked branches and pale flowers.
He looked around and started comparing himself to other trees with their colourful flowers, luscious fruit and
beautiful leaves. In resentment, the Baobab called to his creator, asking her how she could make him so ugly and the other trees so beautiful. The Baobab continued complaining about his appearance. The Goddess got exhausted from his continued complaints and decided to plant him upside down to silence him forever for his ungratefulness; since then, the Baobab tree has found its purpose in being the most valuable tree in Utopia.

The company “Upside Down” took inspiration from the Baobab legend, which teaches that every person’s story is unique and has a purpose. The quote on their boxes, “Your story is unique; it cannot be compared,” reflects this message. The brand believes that every individual has a sense of belonging and defines them as unique with a purpose, making their story incomparable.
