In this film, Stanley Kubrick - an American film director with set designer Ken Adam are describing the confliction between America and the Soviet Union ,by create those sets to deliver different feelings such as an iconic place - War Room and the interior of B-52. Also in a bit less stressful way or in a comedy way, the commander suicide in the toilet, the captain told the solider to shoot at the vending machine to get some coins or the reaction of the pilot when he falling with the bomb etc. However, since the whole real-life situation is not funny and no one was happy after the World War 2 due to the loss of friend, family and home, so Stanley Kubrick wants to keep it a bit sorrowful and do not have very much scenes about the shooting, blood or even no scene about a dead body, only the audio about those actions.
