The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people.

I met Lokida and his friend at Diani beach. It was interesting to learn a thing or two about their culture. Easily, the most visually striking aspect of their culture was the bright red garments and jewellery. To him and the rest of the Maasai community, red symbolises bravery, courage and strength. 
I love building relationships with people from many cultures as it helps me examine biases about people from other cultures and my own. In the process, I become more aware of my culture.
