SIU – the Italian Society of Urbanists

SIU – the Italian Society of Urbanists represents the culture and the values of urbanists working in the Italian University in all institutional and civil venues.
They commissioned us to redesign their visual identity, starting from the logo.

We designed a monogram that represents an organised space.
The letters are reduced to simple shapes: the moduls give to the sign a strong, institutional and very recognisable character.

Starting from the analysis of the given contents, we organised the website flow as a big bread crumbs path: the user can always see the path he followed, navigate through it, always understand where he is and how deep he went through the website. Moreover in this way we were able to show the same content in different journey without creating confusion. The use of the vertical scroll combined with the horizontal one create an effective and complete experience.
