Quanto
Quanto is a rice variety that is grown in the Vercelli province following the principles of organic farming. Quanto is also meant to be a medium to popularize (and finance) scientific research.
Quanto aims to contribute to raising awareness about scientific issues through educational digital content to be enjoyed free of charge, therefore democratically accessible to all.
We designed Quanto’s packaging, creating contemporary initials.
The original function of initials was to break up the graphic continuity of the text into pieces, indicating the starting point of a new logical section.
The initial is an incipit, the beginning of a story revealing itself to the reader, an open door to the vast horizon of knowledge
