Children's book design & illustration for the book: "Shark and Fish Tales" written by Ananya Chemmanur and published by Maiya Publishers. This is a charming tale of two unlikely friends braving the adventures of the sea world. The magical environments were a delight to illustrate. All the sea creatures are inspired by real sea life like the leaf seahorse and the angler fish. The shades of blue varies from a dark deep blue sea to the cyan color closer to the shore as the story progresses. The shiny dots that show when the light hit the scales of the fish is running theme in many of the sea creatures. The text boxes are inspired by bubbles.
