Cleptof | 2022 | Creative direction. TSAR®
Es una banda de jazz funk y metal originaria de Guadalajara, México. La banda se formó en el año 2019 y está integrada por el fundador Gabriel Quintero (bajo), y su colega y amigo Efraín Villalobos (guitarra), teniendo como apoyo a dos amigos en la batería, Isaac González y Edgar Saniba. Tras dos años de su surgimiento estrenan su primer sencillo, “Molusco” y un año más tarde lanzan su segundo sencillo titulado “Esencia Bohemia”, para 2023 contemplan lanzar tres sencillos para así completar su primer disco.
Concepto:
Cleptof nace de lo más negativo de las emociones como método de adaptación y camino para aprender a vivir en el “infierno”, es la idea de un mundo personal donde te despides de las personas y de las angustias, representa a ese individuo que ha sufrido emocionalmente, a simple vista puedes notar que padece de una demencia, tiene la mirada perdida y enferma.
Imagotipo:
Se forma a partir de un boceto de rostro humano desintegrándose, dando la idea de que este se transporta a un mundo personal y privado. Los trazos grotescos que caracterizan al símbolo y la tipografía se asocian al sufrimiento y la demencia.

The band was formed in 2019 and consists of founder Gabriel Quintero (bass), and his colleague and friend Efrain Villalobos (guitar), having as support two friends on drums, Isaac Gonzalez and Edgar Saniba. After two years of their emergence they release their first single, "Molusco" and a year later they release their second single titled "Esencia Bohemia", by 2023 they contemplate releasing three singles to complete their first album.
Concept:
Cleptof is born from the most negative of emotions as a method of adaptation and way to learn to live in "hell", it's the idea of a personal world where you say goodbye to people and anguish, it represents that individual who has suffered emotionally, at first glance you can notice that he suffers from dementia, he has a lost and sick look.

It's formed from a sketch of a human face disintegrating, giving the idea that it's transported to a personal and private world.
The grotesque strokes that characterize the symbol and typography are associated with suffering and dementia.
